About This Piano
This 6’1” 1989 Yamaha G3 is in a traditional polished ebony finish and was fully-manufactured in Japan. It has been well maintained throughout the course of its life and, as such, is presenting like a much younger instrument. It possesses all of the tonal qualities you would expect from this popular model along with a precise, highly-responsive action. It is a wonderful example of the quality and musical potential that Yamaha G series grands offer.
Japanese-made Yamaha grands do not typically last long on our showroom floors, so this is not an opportunity that an intermediate or high-level player seeking excellent value will want to pass up.
About Yamaha Pianos
Yamaha pianos have become a staple in virtually all types of places where music is made. From living rooms and lesson studios to the most prestigious world-class recording studios and concert venues, the quality, reliability, and musical performance of Yamaha pianos make them excellent choices for a variety of musical environments.
The Yamaha G series grands have become quite sought after over the last several decades. While the C series grands tend to be far brighter and louder, the G series pianos typically have a slightly rounder, warmer sound by comparison, which is more suited for living rooms and smaller spaces. Featuring a solid spruce soundboard and Yamaha’s celebrated action, G series grands provide a wonderful musical experience for players of all levels.
