The U-Series is considered the professional series from Yamaha and has been one of the top selling upright lines in the world since the 1970's. In Japan the U2 model has been widely distributed for many years, but was never offered as a new instrument in Canada or the US. At 50″ this is a perfect alternative to the shorter U1 model.
