Used Steinway – Model B – 2003

The Steinway Model B Studio Grand Piano is one of the most iconic 7′ grand pianos in the world. Considered one of the 5 most versatile pianos under 9′, it is a staple of recording studios, living rooms, and conservatories all around the world. It employs the use of many of Steinway’s most well-known innovations, including the treble bell, vertically-laminated maple bridges, continuously-bent inner and outer rims, and accelerated actions.

Steinway manufactures the ‘B’ in two factories, one in New York and one in Hamburg, Germany. Outwardly, New York and Hamburg ‘B’s differ most noticeably in finish, with the former displaying traditional satin lacquer and the latter high-gloss polyester, although NY Steinways are also available in polyester more recently.
