The Pearl River Piano Group was established in 1956 in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China and has grown to become the world’s largest piano manufacturer, producing over 100,000 pianos annually. For well over half a century, Pearl River has been perfecting the art of piano building and offering customers impressively high-quality designs at an excellent value.

Pearl River’s P3 model is a 50” professional upright piano from their Excellent Series. The piano is based on a German design, which is also evident in the use of many German components, including Roslau strings and Abel hammers. The P3 was designed and engineered by Lothar Thomma, a revered piano engineer. Its excellent scale design offers a wonderfully balanced “European” tone throughout the entire range of the instrument. 

This ebony polish P3 is in excellent cosmetic and musical condition. Its clear, powerful bass register is complimented by a balanced and colourful treble section. The P3’s 50” height also allows for a wide range of dynamic and tonal potential, which makes this a suitable instrument for intermediate and advanced students looking for an excellent sounding and playing piano on a tighter budget.
