About Nordheimer Pianos
Nordheimer is one of the most iconic names within the Canadian piano industry. The company was established in 1844 by the Nordheimer brothers in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Abraham and Samuel Nordheimer built their first piano in 1866 and quickly became one of the largest and most celebrated Canadian piano companies of the time. The company was acquired by Heintzman, another legendary Canadian piano manufacturer, in 1928 and continued to produce instruments donning the Nordheimer name up until 1960.
