About Heintzman Pianos
Deemed “The Steinway of the North”, Heintzman pianos were known for their fine craftsmanship, stunning cabinets, and musical sound. Founded in Toronto, Ontario in 1866 by Theodore August Heintzman, the legendary Canadian piano company produced upright and grand pianos for over a century. These durable instruments have certainly endured the test of time and are still gracing music rooms and living rooms to this day. While Canadian manufacturing ceased in 1980, pianos donning the Heintzman name are still being manufactured in China under new ownership.
