Pearl River

Crafting the World's Pianos

Pearl River has risen from relative obscurity 20 years ago to become the world's largest producer of pianos, by unit volume. They initially focused on budget-focused customers seeking to take advantage of China's many economic advantages (such as lower labor costs and lax industrial regulations), however as China has powered towards a much more advanced and prosperous 21st century, Pearl River has followed suit, increasing it's quality and range of pianos and in the process shifting the music world's perception of the prolific builder.

Pearl River is now a highly respected OEM builder for customers such as Schimmel (Fridolin), Bechstein (Zimmerman), Steinway (Essex), as well as their own higher-end offerings under the Ritmuller and Kayserburg brands. They continue to solicit expert advice from European technicians and have recently released several new lines that showcase their recent musical improvements and cabinet innovations.
