Now Accepting Audition Applications To Perform On The Merriam Music Stage, at the 2017 TD Songs Of Summer Festival
Are you a band, solo musician, student, or song-writer who is interested in participating in Merriam Music’s Emerging Artist Stage at the TD Songs of Summer Festival?
Each year, Merriam Music plays a major role in the Songs of Summer (formerly Downtown Oakville Jazz festival), one of Ontario’s finest outdoor music festivals. With headline acts on the main stage, and our own Merriam stage running full-time through the festival, we’ve got lots of exposure opportunity for young and up-and-coming musicians.

Merriam Music and the TD Songs of Summer Festival have been able to introduce a wider and more diverse mix of musicians to the festival lineup, and has also become known as a major talent showcase for bands of all ages looking to perform for thousands of fans. The TD Downtown Oakville Jazz Festival fills Downtown Oakville with music from six stages placed along Lakeshore Rd East from Navy Street to Allan Street.
