Don’t miss Juno-winning drummer Davide Direnzo at Merriam Music! Davide Direnzo (jackSoul, Canadian Idol, Holly Cole, Tomi Swick, and many others) is among Canada’s most recognizable musicians.
Davide has won six Juno awards to date, including two in 2007: one as a member of jackSoul (Best R&B Recording) and one as a band member with Tomi Swick (Best New Artist). He also received a National Jazz Award nomination the same year for Jazz Drummer of the Year. He also just recently took home a Juno in 2013 with Emilie-Claire Barlow in the Vocal Jazz Album of the Year.
Davide will be performing with Mark Lalama (Sisters Euclid & Kevin Breit, Jon Bon Jovi, Mariah Carey, Martina McBride, Anne Murray) on keyboards and Rich Moore (Marc Jordan, The Tenors, Walk Off the Earth, Alice Cooper) on bass.
