Introducing The Merriam Adult Vocal Program
Canada’s most innovative adult singing lesson program. Now accepting new applicants at both our Vaughan and Oakville locations!
MERRIAM School Of Music has the most fun, lowest pressure way to learn how to sing, or improve your singing skills. And, it’s brand new for this year!
Headed by renowned tenor Charles Di Raimondo, this vocal program is totally unique.
The right repertoire
What’s the best part of learning to sing? Getting to sing the songs you love! Imagine being able to sing your favourite selection from Les Miserables, Barbara Streisand, or Rod Stewart? Or even Adele?
We get it. If you spend all of your time learning exercises, or music you don’t like, this isn’t going to be very fun. Getting you some enjoyable, quick ‘wins’ so you can feel great, and maybe even show off a little, is what we’re all about.
The right teacher
Not every teacher can switch gears back and forth between 8 year olds and 45 year olds. Being able to communicate in a different manner, quickly change priorities and goals, and most of all, relate to why you’re back at the piano again, takes a special type of educator. We don’t pair our adult students with just any teacher – our team of adult educators has been picked because of years of successful track records.
- taught in a group format
- with other people of similar age and skill level
- lots of opportunity to sing for fun, while still building technical skills
- optional performance opportunities throughout the year
