About This Piano
Finished in a classic ebony polish, this Heintzman 126 is in wonderful condition and ready to serve its next owner with exceptional power, expressivity, and musicality. Despite its Chinese manufacturing, there is no denying the North American soul of this piano. This instrument would be a wonderful update for a player with fond memories of the tall, old Heintzman upright piano that they grew up with. While most of those older Heintzman pianos are no longer viable musical options, this 126 presents a fantastic alternative for fans of the brand.
The Heintzman 126 is a modern, Chinese-produced piano. Standing at 50” tall, this professional upright model possesses the power and boldness that made the original Heintzman pianos so revered. The taller height allows for a larger soundboard and longer bass strings, meaning that the bass response is exceptional. Tuning reliability, action sensitivity, and a wide tonal/dynamic range are all features of this magnificent piano model.
About Heintzman Pianos
Heintzman is unquestionably the most famous and revered Canadian piano manufacturer of all-time. With roots dating back to 1866, Heintzman pianos, which were long built at the company’s Toronto factory, gained popularity for their beautiful cabinetry and exceptional musicality. Their musical performance was so strong that they were given the nickname the “Steinway of the North” by piano aficionados. The company’s Canadian manufacturing eventually ceased in 1981, but the company’s legacy was perpetuated by a Canadian/Chinese joint venture in 1989. Modern Heintzman are manufactured in Beijing, China.
