About Nordiska Pianos
The Swedish Nordiska Piano Company was established over 100 years ago in the town of Vetlanda. Nordiska pianos were highly regarded for their advanced scale designs and excellent sound quality. Despite the company’s long standing success, in 1988, amidst a recession in Europe, Nordiska was forced to cease its operations. The Dongbei Piano Company of China acquired the brand and its scale designs and re-initiated the production of pianos donning the Nordiska name.
